Are Returning Starters in College Football a Key to Profits....

If you have been around sport handicapping for any period of time I am sure that you have heard talk about the experience of one team versus another. That is especially true when talk turns to playoffs or "big games". There is no doubt that it does have an impact as the season progresses and games become more important. The question however you have to answer is does the experience of a team (ie Number of returning starters) have any impact on making a profitable College Football Pick? It is that angle that I decided to pursue to see if it would give us some favorable results and whether or not there were any opportunities with this weeks action. So, let's take a look:

Since 1990 any team that has brought into a game 17 or more starters is 1282-1156-30 ATS (52.5%). Not a big money maker but a record to not go against.

Now, if this same team goes into a game off of two straight ATS losses it really starts to pay off as these teams are 219-158-4 ATS (58%). Have them listed as an underdog and now we being to bust some book bankrolls turning in a 124-86-2 ATS mark. Teams that qualify in this roll this week are Miami Ohio and Wisconsin

This step might be a bit confusing but take the team with the 17 starters who are off two straight ATS losses, are listed as a dog, give up less than 33 points per game on the season, are facing an opponent off of a loss, and are on the road and, viola, ......you have just put history on your side with a sparkling 17-4 ATS!

What does all this mean? Take Miami Ohio this week

Last week Michael scorched the books with his NCAAF Game of the Week, Big-12 Bash, Big-10 Blowout, and SEC Smoker Winners! This weekend Michael has another huge card of GUARANTEED winners!
