In handicapping sporting events there are certainly enough opinions to support whatever team you feel will win in any given week of College Football Picks. However, the astute handicapper understands which ones are of value and which ones have no bearing on making a correct selection. One that I believe has a strong influence on the outcome of any particular game is the performance of a team when they are on the road versus when at home. So, in keeping with that thought I decided to look for teams this week that have been on the road for a greater portion of their season then they have been at home to see if we could gain a betting advantage. To narrow the focus I looked at teams who are playing their fifth road game this week. He's what I found: Teams who are playing their fifth road game in week seven of the season are a money burning 42-57-1 ATS. This week teams in this situation are FAU (Florida Atlantic) and FIU (Florida International). If any of these teams are off a win in their last game and they really empty your bankroll going 15-32 ATS. This angle narrows our focus to FIU. If any of the road teams allow 21.5 or more points per game on
the season it goes to an even worse 8-26 ATS when playing an opponent off a win. Now, if we really want to grab the cash if this same team is playing an opponent that allows 25 or fewer points per game they just about make millionaires out of the books as they are a horrible 2-19 ATS!
